NAC N-acetyl cysteine 600mg #100

$20.00

N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a stable form of the amino acid L-Cysteine. Cysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that acts as a stabilizer for the formation of protein structures. Although NAC possesses its own antioxidant activity, its primary function is to supply cysteine necessary for glutathione synthesis.*

SUGGESTED USAGE: As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 2 times a day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Other ingredients: Gelatin (capsule), Stearic Acid (vegetable source) and Citric Acid. Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.

Cautions and Interactions: NAC may interact with many pharmaceutical medications including ACE inhibitors. In addition, although NAC may interact with nitroglycerin and isosorbide (two medications commonly used to treat chest pain), this combination may also increase the risk of side effects such as severe headaches and may lead to abnormally low blood pressure. NAC may also interact with activated charcoal.
